Dr. AnaMaria Cruz earned both her Bachelor's degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She went on to complete a post-graduate internship at VCA Aurora Specialty and Emergency Hospital, gaining additional experience in specialty and emergency care.Dr. Cruz has been practicing veterinary medicine for over six years. During that time, she spent several years at a hospital with a focus on Theriogenology, where she worked extensively with breeding dogs, hormone tracking, and reproductive procedures. Her clinical experience also includes working with K9 officers and county therapy dogs.
